Meet Our Quality Manager
Quality isn’t just about meeting standards. It’s about creating a culture where improvement never stops.
We sat down with Sandra Barrera – our new Quality Manager to learn what drives her passion for quality, continuous improvement, and why she chose Printing International.
What brought you into Quality Management?
“I started my career in legal departments before moving into an in-mould label company, where I gained extensive knowledge of the printing process. Working in an environment with very high quality and process standards shaped the way I think. Over time, I realized I wanted to take a more active role in improving processes and helping organizations grow—that’s what led me into Quality Management.”
What does quality mean to you?
“Quality means maintaining an open mindset and continuously looking for opportunities to improve.”
What convinced you that Printing International is a company where quality truly matters?
“Printing International works for very demanding and highly regulated sectors. This requires a strong commitment to consistency and excellence. That level of expectation really convinced me that quality is not just a goal here, but a core value.
In your opinion, what is the biggest misconception about quality??
“Many people think quality means everything has to be perfect. In reality, quality is about continuously identifying opportunities for improvement and making processes better over time.”
What motivates you every day?
“I’m motivated by the idea of making things better every day—whether it’s improving a process, preventing an issue, or helping the team grow.”
Quality in one word?
Continuous improvement.
Because quality is never a finished product—it’s an ongoing journey.
