ETCHABLE PAD PRINTING PLATES
Printing International has three types of etchable pad printing plates in its range, for customers who want to etch their own cliché and do not want to be bound by delivery deadlines. Two types are polymer plates, the etching of these plates can be done with a minimum of material. Etching the better quality steel plates requires a larger investment.

Etchable pad printing plates
Nyp 52 pad printing plate is an alcohol washable polymer plate for the highest printing quality in pad printing.
Product specifications:
- Up to 50.000 prints without loss of quality
- Suitable for open and closed ink systems
- Suitable for halftone printing
- Screen ruling up to 380 lpi (150 L / cm)
- Maximum depth is 200 microns
NYP 34-W pad printing plate is a water washable polymer plate for the highest print quality, suitable for small print runs.
Product specifications:
- Up to 20.000 prints and more without loss of quality
- Suitable for open and closed ink systems
- Suitable for halftone printing
- Screen ruling up to 150 lpi (60 L / cm)
- Maximum depth is 200 microns
THIN STEEL 0,5 mm PAD PRINTING PLATE
Thin steel 0,5 mm is a hardened carbon steel cliché with a polished surface, it is also available in a thickness of 0,2 mm. The plates have a negative photosensitive lacquer on both sides. All pad printing plates are cut and perforated at the customer’s request.
