LASER ENGRAVABLE PAD PRINTING PLATES
The laser engravable pad printing plates from Printing International use CTP technology. CTP stands for “computer-to-plate”. With CTP, the digital images can be engraved directly on the pad printing plate by means of a laser. Without an intermediate step via photographic films, exposure system, development, retouching and etching.
This technology offers several advantages compared to the production of the pad printing plates by means of films and etching:
- better quality of the laser pad printing plate
- more stable halftone images
- more screens can be combined
- sharper edges of the printing images
- less labor intensive; fewer steps are required to a perfect record.

Laser Engravable pad printing plates
Nyp 30 Laser is a polymer laser plate for high- quality pad printing, suitable for small print runs, without loss of quality.
Product specifications:
- Up to 40.000 prints without loss of quality
- Suitable for open and closed ink systems
- Suitable for halftone printing
- Screen ruling up to 380 lpi (150 L / cm)
- Maximum laser depth is 30 microns
THIN STEEL 0,5 mm PAD PRINTING PLATE
Thin steel 0,5 mm is a hardened carbon steel cliché with a polished surface, it is also available in a thickness of 0,2 mm. The plates have a negative photosensitive lacquer on both sides. All pad printing plates are cut and perforated at the customer’s request.

- Screen ruling up to 200 lpi (80 L / cm)
- Maximum laser depth is 200 microns
THICK STEEL 10 mm PAD PRINTING PLATE
Thick steel 10 mm is a hardened carbon steel pad printing plate containing chrome with a polished surface, for corrosive inks. This pad printing plate is extremely suitable for high productions runs.

- Up to 1.000.000 prints and more without loss of quality
- Suitable for open and closes ink systems
- Suitable for halftone printing
- Screen ruling up to 200 lpi (80 L / cm)
- Maximum laser depth is 200 microns
